The Teal Ribbon Campaign

The "Teal Ribbon"is the nationally recognized ribbon color for awareness and support of Ovarian Cancer. The month of September has been chosen as the National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

The LPGA (Ladies Professional Golfers Association) has agreed to support the "Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month" by requesting their players wear a Teal Ribbon during the month.

Out of state residents: contact your local or state cancer care center for your free ribbon.
If you are unable to obtain a ribbon from your local or state source, the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Nevada can supply them. However, due to our limited budget, we require that you send $3 ( just to cover shipping & handling costs ) for each ribbon requested to:

Here's a thought - Why just wear the teal ribbon in September?
Wear it to special events at any time during the year. Even the curious ones will approach you to inquire about the ribbon. This will give you a wonderful opportunity to promote Ovarian Cancer Awareness.
